Configurations suited to any situation
The P-Cone piezocone is functioning with: TGAS-12 and CPT-AS.
TGAS-12 is the acquisition for carrying out CPTu tests, dissipation tests, temperature and S-CPTu tests (which can only be carried out with seismic piezocone). The new program guides the operator at each stage and the five tabs simplify the passage between the different kinds of test, while the touch-screen capacitive monitor makes its use even more fluid and intuitive.
CPT-AS is the acquisition for carrying out CPTu tests, dissipation tests and temperature tests which are highly compact and robust. With just a few guided steps, it is possible to carry out different kinds of test. Lastly, thanks to its compactness and lightness, it is easy to transport in a practical case.

Precision and high performance
The Pagani P-Cone15 offers to the customer a higher sensitivity in all tests carried out in soft and homogeneous soils characterized by extremely low values of tip resistance (Qc) and lateral friction (Fs).
In fact, during the testing process carried out by Pagani Geotechnical Equipment it was found that the increased surface area of the cone allows a high sensitivity, and this gives to the operator the opportunity to get better accuracy in the data obtained in these extremely soft soils.
P-Cone15 also offers advantages in extremely cohesive soil tests. In fact, the cone tends to reduce friction, creating a wider borehole during the penetration phase which drastically reduces the lateral friction acting on the rods during, allowing the operator to test deeper.

The Cone Resistance measuring sensor is available with a maximum resistance of 100 MPa.
The P-Cone15 piezocone is functioning with: TGAS-12 and CPT-AS Data Loggers.
