The Pagani Geotechnical TG 63-150 Penetrometer (Static Version) is configured to perform Static Penetrometric Tests (CPT).
The TG63-150 Static version also allows for Seismic Testing and Shelby Sampler Soil Samples to be taken.
The TG63-150 features an anchoring system installed on the mast which allows machine positioning times to be significantly reduced, along with the stress when driving the test equipment into the ground. The TG 63-150 penetrometer features a hydraulic tracked carriage which offers excellent manoeuvrability, even on uneven terrain.
It can even be positioned on very steep slopes thanks to its three stabiliser legs, and the mast can be tilted continuously, meaning it is always perfectly vertical.
The TG63-150 is a highly flexible machine, which can be used by one single operator or two if more tests need to be done each day.
Static Penetrometric Tests can be performed with a mechanical bit (Begemann) and manual acquisition (CPT), or using different (optional) bits such as the piezocone (CPTU) or seismic piezocone (S-CPTU) which offer a more reliable stratigraphic interpretation and determination of the profile of the speed of the shear waves (Vs).
